The last few months have been truly momentous for the Ashram. With the blessings of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Ma and Swamiji, the land and the building of the Ashram were gifted to Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Dakshineswar in November 2019. The good work started by Revered Swami Sarvatmananda, will now be continued and expanded by the Sarada Math and Mission. The Ashram is already being managed by the Matajis of Sarada Math, who are residing there. Access to the Ashram Shrine will now be restricted to fixed timings to be decided by the Resident Matajis. Male devotees can no longer stay in the Ashram. A notification to this effect will be issued by Sarada Math shortly. For us, the devotees of the Ashram, this is indeed a blessing. Our Revered Maharaj always wanted the Ashram to be taken over and run by Sarada Math, and his dreams have been fulfilled. It has been an honour and a blessing to have been associated in the transformation of the Ashram to Ramakrishna Sarada Mission. The Saradayan Society, which was maintaining and running the Ashram, will continue to support the Ashram financially and operationally till March/April 2020. We sincerely thank all devotees for their cooperation and support during this last one year, and we trust that you will keep supporting the new Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Devprayag as it spreads the message of the Holy Trio in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas.
